Job Opportunity: Urology Physician

Join a dedicated healthcare team at a prominent hospital located in Lafayette, Indiana. This facility is known for its commitment to patient care and community wellbeing. You will be working primarily in an inpatient setting, utilizing the Cerner EMR system, with opportunities for professional growth and development.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient care and perform emergency department rounding.
• Respond to calls between 7am and 7am as part of the call coverage.
• Conduct patient consultations, averaging 5-10 phone consultations per day.
• Orient with Cerner and receive a brief tour of the hospital on the first day of assignment.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care.
• Manage patient admissions and discharges as needed.

Qualifications:

• Board certification in Urology, or eligibility for certification.
• Completion of a Urology fellowship.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication skills for patient interactions and consultations.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active medical license in the state of Indiana is preferred but not required for this position.
• Board certification must be maintained throughout employment.
