UVA Community Health, our community-based entity, is seeking dynamic full-time general Urologists to join our growing team. There is a high demand for Urology, and UVA Community Health Medical Group is interested in expanding their program at UVA Haymarket Medical Center. Our partnership with the UVA Department of Urology in Charlottesville, Virginia, will help us provide the highest quality care for patients in these regions. This position offers a competitive salary, a highly engaged executive team committed to providing high-quality care in a community-based setting, and partnership with our academic Urology colleagues. Existing UVA Health providers in Haymarket include an experienced full-time general Urologist and part-time subspecialty Urologists. UVA fosters a culture of collaboration aimed at establishing an optimal patient-provider experience, supported by strong clinical and administrative teams.
This role offers a mix of inpatient and outpatient care, allowing the successful candidate to provide a full range of surgical and non-surgical treatments for common urologic conditions. Facilities include a recently renovated urology clinic, an adjacent outpatient surgery center, and inpatient hospital services.
Haymarket, once known as the Crossroads in the 1700s, is a charming Virginia town rich in history. Today, it features eclectic shops, restaurants, museums, and is close to Virginia's horse country. The town offers a variety of shopping, dining, and entertainment options, including well-maintained golf courses and scenic mountains.
