Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. in Parsippany, NJ is seeking a friendly Urology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team.

The role covers comprehensive patient care for urological conditions and involves working part-time (two days per week) with a focus on high-quality, proactive senior care within our nationwide network. Responsibilities include assessments, treatment planning, progress monitoring, patient education, and EMR documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility.
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license.
• DEA License.
• CPR BCLS/BLS certified.
• Must hold a Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• A year of experience in Urology.
• Experience documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.).
• Must have great organizational and time management skills.
• Prolonged standing/walking; occasional lifting up to 20 lbs; computer work; lifting/moving patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical guidelines.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide patient education, counseling, and support on disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care.
• Diagnose and treat residents with urology conditions, diseases, and infections.
• Document patient encounters, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, using electronic medical record systems.
