Job summary

We are seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) with urology experience to join a hospital-owned urology practice in Rutland, Vermont. The role offers an independent patient panel, strong physician collaboration, and an excellent work-life balance.

Responsibilities include outpatient urology care, detailed histories and physical exams, and collaborating on treatment plans with supervising physicians.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years NP/PA experience in urology.
• Vermont licensure or eligibility.
• Unit-specific certifications as applicable (ACLS, TNCC, PALS, ENPC).
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently within a team-based model.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient urology care
• Conduct detailed histories and physical examinations
• Evaluate and manage acute and chronic urologic conditions
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies (labs, imaging, etc.)
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
• Provide patient education and counseling
• Participate in first-call coverage as appropriate
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
