Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the delivery of urological services within a clinic setting. The MA will perform routine administrative and clinical tasks to ensure smooth office operations and effective patient care.

The position collaborates with physicians and staff, greeting patients, taking vital signs, assisting during examinations, drawing blood, and preparing medications under physician supervision. Strong HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate MA program or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months experience in a physician's office desired. Urology experience desired.
• Certification or Registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule patient appointments with physicians and staff.
• Greet patients and prepare them for exams.
• Measure and record vital signs.
• Perform phlebotomy and basic lab tests.
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in EMR.
