The Urology Group is seeking a Medical Assistant for our Middletown, OH office. The position supports urological services and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to ensure smooth patient care delivery.

Responsibilities include administrative and clinical duties, patient preparation, phlebotomy, vital signs, EKGs, and assisting physicians with exams, while adhering to HIPAA and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience
• 6 months experience in a physician’s office, urology preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule patient appointments with physicians and staff
• Greet patients and prepare them for visits
• Perform phlebotomy and basic lab tests
• Take vital signs and document patient history
• Assist with exams and in-office procedures
• Maintain patient records and comply with HIPAA
