Job summary

INTEGRATED MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS is seeking a Medical Assistant for our Elmont, NY office. The role supports urology services and requires both administrative and clinical duties to ensure efficient patient care.

The candidate will greet patients, take vitals, prepare for exams, assist physicians, perform phlebotomy and basic lab tasks, and help maintain medical records with HIPAA compliance. Prior MA training and US work eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent.
• 6 months experience in a physician's office; urology experience preferred.
• Certification or Registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative and clinical duties under supervision.
• Coordinate and schedule patient appointments with staff.
• Greet patients and prepare them for visits.
• Measure and record vital signs.
• Record patient interview and history.
• Assist during examinations and lab procedures.
• Perform phlebotomy and basic lab tests.
• May perform EKGs after training.
• Maintain accurate medical records and compliant documentation.
• Open and close the office per schedule.
