Job summary

Capital Medical Group, an IPM/UHS subsidiary, is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant (Urology) to support physicians with examinations and procedural care onsite within a multi-specialty network. You will collect histories, take vitals, perform specimens, and assist with minor procedures while maintaining accurate EMR documentation.

The ideal candidate has an accredited Medical Assistant program completion, CPR/BLS, and at least one year of MA experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduation from an accredited or approved Medical Assistant program required.

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians with patient preparation and examinations.
• Administers oral and injectable medications as prescribed by the physician with RN competency.
• Performs basic wound care and dressing changes under physician direction.
• Manages patient records, vitals, histories, and EMR data entry.
• Explains tests and procedures to patients and provides post-procedure instructions.
