Job summary

Mass General Brigham Medical Group Northern Massachusetts, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant to support a Urology practice at 104 Endicott Street, Danvers, MA.

The role involves welcoming patients, collecting data, preparing exam rooms, and assisting providers in a fast-paced outpatient setting. You will document medical histories, manage scheduling and phones, and coordinate with departments to ensure smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Medical Assistant credential preferred.
• Direct medical assistant experience or related medical field experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, privacy standards, and confidentiality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients, obtain medical information, and measure vital signs, weight, and height.
• Prepare patients, examination rooms, and necessary equipment for healthcare providers.
• Document medical histories, vital statistics, test results, and other patient information in the medical record.
• Support patient scheduling, telephone communication, insurance forms, and other general office responsibilities.
• Serve as a liaison across departments and advocate for patients with a positive, service-oriented approach.
• Collect, log, and prepare blood, tissue, or other laboratory specimens for testing.
• Maintain clean, stocked treatment rooms and follow proper cleaning, sterilization, and disposal procedures.
