Job summary

PeaceHealth is seeking a Medical Assistant - Urology for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position. The role collaborates with physicians and the healthcare team to deliver patient care within the MA scope of practice. WA MA certification and BLS are required.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, rooms, and supplies, performing injections and wound care per provider orders, and maintaining EMR records. Prior authorization and scheduling support are part of the duties.

Qualifications

• WA MA certification required.
• Interim/Non-Interim credentials accepted with timeline.
• BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and record vital signs.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain supplies and equipment.
• Administer injections and assist with wound care under supervision.
• Schedule tests and follow-up appointments and maintain patient files.
• Enter data into electronic medical records and support clinic operations.
