Job summary

UF Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide patient care in a physician's office under the supervision of a licensed physician. The role may include clerical, insurance, and medical record duties and may require floating to other UFHP practices as needed for staffing.

Candidate must maintain MA certification/registration and CPR; EMT can substitute MA certification. Ambulatory care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain current certification or registration as a Medical Assistant.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) required or obtained within first 90 days of employment; maintain CPR.
• Licensure must be through the AHA or Red Cross.
• One year of direct patient care experience in ambulatory care preferred.
• EMT license can be used in lieu of MA certification.
