Job summary

BAS HealthCare in Manchester, CT seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join the inpatient urology team. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, rounds, oversee consults, and contribute to urology procedures.

Collaborate with urologists and interdisciplinary teams to develop medical and educational treatment plans, arrange referrals, and ensure continuity of care. CT license (or eligible) and AGACNP certification are required; 2+ years of urology experience preferred; new

Job Details

• Join a dynamic inpatient urology team as a Nurse Practitioner
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and round at the hospital
• Oversee consults and contribute to urology procedures
• Work collaboratively with urologists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient care
• Perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial treatment plans
• Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs, including referrals to specialists and other healthcare team members
• Identify problems outside scope of practice and refer appropriately to physicians
• Full-time, Monday through Friday schedule with no call required
• Travel between sites is required but fully reimbursed
• Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License required (or eligible)
• Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP certified) credentials required
• 2+ years of urology experience preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply
