Qualifications

• Certified Scrub Tech or Certified Surgical Technologist preferred.
• Prior OR experience preferred.
• Urology experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in OR setting.
• Holmium Laser utilization for Urology procedures a plus.
• Knowledge of sterilization protocols is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and move ureteroscopy/laser equipment in OR prior to procedure.
• Assist Urologist in performing ureteroscopy and laser procedures.
• Report to facility 60 minutes prior to start of procedure.
• Submit complete treatment/billing logs per HIPAA policies.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and cystoscopy equipment.
• Contact facilities to confirm schedule and start times.
• Notify a service engineer of equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain Policies & Procedures Manuals and updates.
