Job summary

Medicus Healthcare Solutions, LLC partners with a facility in eastern West Virginia to provide a board-certified Urologist for a 6- to 12-month contract assignment. The role includes 5 operating rooms onsite, 8a-4:30p shifts, and 2–4 weeks per month schedule with a beeper call requirement.

Wildcard benefits include paid travel and lodging, malpractice coverage, and credentialing support from Medicus. EMR CPRS is used; ACLS, BLS, and DEA are required to practice.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Urology.
• ACLS and BLS certified.
• DEA license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide urology care for in-state patients at the facility.
• Perform TURBTs, TURPs, stone management and vasectomies.
• Manage consults, surgeries, and post-operative care on-site with an on-site team.

Medicus is partnering with a facility in eastern West Virginia that has a contract assignment for a Urologist to assist their team.

Assignment Overview

• Shifts: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p
• Schedule: 2-4 weeks per month
• Term Length: 6-12 month assignment
• Beeper call requirement
• Setting: 5 ORs onsite
• Daily Volume: 13 patients
• Caseload: Consults, TURBTs, TURPs, stones, vasectomies, TRUS biopsies, scrotal cases
• Callback Caseload: Foley placement or infected stones
• Support Staff: PA and RNs
• EMR: CPRS
• Must be board-certified
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
• Paid travel & expenses
