Job summary

Medicus Healthcare Solutions is partnering with a facility in eastern West Virginia seeking a board-certified Urologist for a contract assignment to support their team. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00a–4:30p with on-site 5 ORs, daily volume around 13 patients, and a mix of consults, TURBTs, TURPs, stones, vasectomies, TRUS biopsies, and scrotal cases.

Beeper call and CPRS EMR use are required. ACLS, BLS, and DEA credentials are required; travel and lodging are provided, with PA and RN support to

Qualifications

• Board-certified urologist required.
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA credentials required.
• Experience with TURBTs, TURPs, stones, vasectomies, TRUS biopsies, and scrotal cases preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide urology services on a schedule of 5 ORs onsite.
• Perform consults and a range of procedures including TURBTs, TURPs, stones, and TRUS biopsies.
• Manage on-call beeper duties and coordinate with PA and RN support.
• Ensure documentation and patient care in CPRS EMR system.

Assignment Overview:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p
• Beeper call requirement
• Setting: 5 ORs onsite
• Daily Volume: 13 patients
• Caseload: Consults, TURBTs, TURPs, stones, vasectomies, TRUS biopsies, scrotal cases
• Callback Caseload: Foley placement or infected stones
• Support Staff: PA and RNs
• EMR: CPRS
• Must be board-certified
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
• Paid travel & expenses
