Job summary

Medicus Healthcare Solutions is partnering with a facility in eastern West Virginia to staff a board-certified Urologist on a contract assignment. The position features a Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

schedule with on-site coverage in a 5-OR setting and a daily caseload that includes TURBTs, TURPs, stones, vasectomies and TRUS biopsies. The role requires ACLS, BLS, and DEA credentials, beeper call participation, and support from PAs and RNs with CPRS EMR in use.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in urology.
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA certifications required.
• EMR CPRS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide urology services including TURBTs, TURPs, stones, vasectomies, TRUS biopsies, scrotal cases.
• Consults and procedures with 13 daily patients.
• Beeper call coverage and after-hours on-call as required.

Assignment Overview:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p
• Beeper call requirement
• Setting: 5 ORs onsite
• Daily Volume: 13 patients
• Caseload: Consults, TURBTs, TURPs, stones, vasectomies, TRUS biopsies, scrotal cases
• Callback Caseload: Foley placement or infected stones
• Support Staff: PA and RNs
• EMR: CPRS
• Must be board-certified
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
• Paid travel & expenses
