Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Lakeway, TX, is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support the Urology Clinic. You will update patient records, administer medications, and assist doctors with examinations to ensure efficient patient flow.

This role requires strong attention to detail, ability to document accurately, and a patient-focused approach. Training is provided; you’ll work Mon-Fri 8a-5p with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year of experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or within 30 days of hire.
• CMA certifications: CMA, NCMA, CMA (AAMA/ARMA), CCMA, RMA, NRCMA, CMAC.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient examinations and treatment under physician guidance.
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms before and after procedures, maintaining cleanliness and stocking supplies.
• Guide patients from the waiting room and help them get ready for examination.
• Interview patients and update medical records; collect detailed medical information for physician review.
• Record vital signs and prepare patients for tests, procedures, and x-rays.
• Administer routine medications and vaccinations as directed; monitor for adverse reactions.
