Loyola Medicine, part of Trinity Health, is hiring a Medical Assistant for day shift in the Chicago area. The role supports ambulatory care delivery, coordinating pre/intra/post visit activities and assisting with direct patient care under physician supervision.

Qualifications include CMA certification within six months, CPR/BLS, and a High School Diploma with related experience; preferred college coursework and prior MA experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus training through work experience or education.
• Administrative or technical background with 2–3 years of college is preferred.
• One year of Medical Assistant experience or completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required within six months of hire; CPR/BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients and support the physician throughout the visit, from arrival to checkout.
• Administer medications and coordinate with physicians and health care staff to ensure care continuity.
