Loyola Medicine Transport, part of Trinity Health, is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the ambulatory care team in Chicago's western suburbs. The role involves direct patient care, registration, scheduling, and coordinating the pre/intra/post visit tasks under physician supervision.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma with CMA certification within six months of hire, and one year of Medical Assistant experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; training via work experience or education.
• CMA certification required within six months of hire from an approved body.
• 1 year of Medical Assistant experience preferred; 1-2 years acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients during visits, including history taking and routine tasks.
• Assists with registration, scheduling and physician–patient communication.
• Administers medication and coordinates care with the health care team.
