Job summary

Loyola Medicine, a member of Trinity Health, is seeking a Medical Assistant to support direct patient care in the ambulatory setting. Under physician supervision, you will assist with visits, coordinate pre/intra/post tasks, and help with registration and scheduling.

Minimum education includes a high school diploma; preferred 2-3 years of college. Certification as CMA within six months is required; pay ranges $18.16–$28.14 per hour, with benefits starting day one and PTO plus holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education
• Preferred: Administrative or technical background acquired through completion of 2 - 3 years of college

Responsibilities

• Provide care to the patient and support to the physician throughout the entire visit, beginning at arrival through checkout
• Assist with routine tasks and procedures, scheduling and follow up orders
• Administer medication and coordinate care with other health professionals as needed
