Job summary

AdventHealth in Denver, Colorado seeks a Research Coordinator to execute the informed consent process for participants in clinical trials and manage screening, information delivery, and record-keeping. The role requires RN licensure with BLS, and preferred CCRC certification; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform clinical tasks including assisting physician and CRN within scope of practice.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical or research environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with research participants, investigators, staff and external partners.
• Knowledge of HIPAA data protection and patient advocacy.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Executes and coordinates the informed consent process for participants in clinical trials and research studies.
• Screens potential research participants to determine eligibility for trials and studies.
• Provides information about the study, procedures, risks, and benefits to participants.
• Maintains accurate records of the informed consent process and signed forms.
• Coordinates biospecimen collection and HIPAA-protected data linking patient information to biospecimens.
• Acts as study contact for participants, investigators, and research staff.
• Supports project budgets and cost containment measures.
• Coordinates care and follow-up of volunteers on studies and programs.
• Assists physician, ARNP, and CRN with minor procedures as needed.
• Works flexible hours and handles multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
