Job summary

Wirral University Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Support Worker to join the Urology Team. The role supports nurses and the wider urology service in delivering care, procedures and investigations, with emphasis on patient dignity and safety.

Applicants should have NVQ Level 3 in care (or be working towards it), strong communication and teamwork, and the ability to work across a four-day week on a part-time basis.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in care or working towards.
• Demonstrates good communication and teamwork.
• Ability to work with urology team and hospital care experience.

Responsibilities

• Support nurses and urology team for procedures and investigations.
• Assist with personal hygiene and toileting.
• Perform cannulation and venepuncture as required.
• Urinalysis, bladder scan, and removal of urinary catheter.
• Accurate documentation of care provided.
