Job summary

Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for Clinical Support Worker roles across our clinical teams. You will assist patients with hygiene, nutrition and mobility, while respecting dignity and privacy, under the supervision of registered staff.

Candidates should have substantial healthcare experience, NVQ2/3 or National Care Certificate, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Shifts include days, nights, weekends and bank holidays, with visa sponsorship considerations

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare settings, ideally acute hospital
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care or National Care Certificate
• Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment and maintain patient-centred care

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal hygiene, nutrition and mobility while maintaining dignity and privacy
• Provide bowel and bladder care and monitor dietary intake
• Deliver a range of delegated clinical care duties under supervision
• Support infection prevention practices and safe use of PPE
• Assist with bed-making, charting observations (including NEWS2) and reporting changes to staff
• Chaperone patients and support them through rest, sleep and emotional needs
