Job summary
Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a dynamic Nurse Practitioner to join its Urology division for both inpatient and outpatient care in Hollywood, FL. The selected APP will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with urologic conditions.
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of APP experience, a MS in Nursing, and an Adult NP Certification with an active Florida license.
Qualifications
- Master of Science in Nurse Practitioner required.
- Adult Nurse Practitioner Certification required.
- Florida license must be obtained by date of hire.
- BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross required by date of hire.
- 7+ years of APP experience in urology or related field preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assess, evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute urological conditions in inpatient/outpatient settings.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive urology care.
- Assist with procedures including nerve stimulations, interim programming, pessary fittings, catheterizations, and bladder instillations.
- Provide routine care and support within the urology practice; weekend coverage and on-call/work-from-home as needed.
