Job summary

UF Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider III (APP III) licensed in Florida and/or Georgia to deliver direct patient care in subspecialty outpatient and/or inpatient settings. The role may involve procedures, consults, and NICU involvement with supervision by a physician.

The APP III provides comprehensive health management, conducts histories, exams, orders and interprets tests, and educates patients and families. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years outpatient/inpatient experience requested.
• Licensed as Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner in Florida and/or Georgia.
• Ability to collaborate with physicians, pharmacists and other medical staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and manage high-acuity cases within scope of practice.
• Order, interpret and evaluate diagnostic tests; develop treatment plans.
• Educate and counsel patients and families; document encounters accurately.
• Coordinate referrals, procedures, and discharge planning as appropriate.
• Travel up to 25% to UF Health hospitals, clinics and affiliated facilities.
