Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing or physician assistant studies required; APRN or PA licensure in TX.
• NCCPA certification required for PA track or RNFA credential for NPs.
• ACLS certification as per UT Southwestern policy.

Responsibilities

• Conducts and documents comprehensive initial and ongoing physical examinations based on age and diagnosis.
• Synthesizes data to develop and evaluate patient care plans and orders appropriate tests.
• Demonstrates proficiency in procedural skills and participates in robotic surgeries as a first assist.
• Collaborates with surgical and nursing teams to support patient care and safety.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
