Job summary

Urology Clinics Of North Texas seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to work with urologic surgeons across multiple Dallas-Fort Worth area offices and affiliated hospitals. The APP will perform history and physicals, manage follow-ups, and participate in hospital rounds and surgical assist duties as needed.

The role requires an APRN with Texas licensure and NCCPA certification, plus 1 year of APP clinical/surgical experience; DaVinci robotic training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in nursing with Texas BON authorization for clinical practice area
• ARC-PA accredited PA program completion
• Minimum 1 year APP clinical/surgical experience preferred
• DaVinci robotic training preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform history and physical exams for new and established patients and consult with supervising physicians
• Provide follow-up care and health maintenance per standards of care
• Initiate treatment and testing for evaluation of illness
• Evaluate post-operative patients and conduct routine follow-ups
• Assume same-day office visit duties as needed and provide patient education
