Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Frisco is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Acute Care NP or PA) to serve as first assist in robotic urology surgery and to manage patients in the Frisco clinic. The role involves approx.

60% inpatient/OR and 40% clinic with a 4x10 hour schedule. Candidates should hold an ARC-PA–accredited PA program degree or an advanced nursing degree, possess ACLS, and be licensed in Texas (NCCPA or NP/PA).

Qualifications

• Urology clinical experience preferred.
• Robotic first assist experience preferred.
• Experience in both outpatient and inpatient urology care.
• Strong communication and patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Conducts and documents physical exams tailored to age/diagnosis.
• Develops care plans using data and evidence across tests.
• Demonstrates proficiency in procedural skills.
• Offers management, referrals, counseling and patient education.
• Supports quality initiatives and clinical research.
• Collaborates on research projects and applies evidence-based practices.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
