Job summary

UHC Urology in North Central West Virginia seeks a urologist to join a hospital-owned practice with a strong support system.

The physician will diagnose and treat urinary tract and reproductive conditions, perform surgical procedures, and provide care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Eligibility for state licensure, an ABA-certified residency, and ABU board eligibility or certification are required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and eligible for state medical license.
• Completed an accredited residency in Urology.
• Board certified or eligible in Urology by the ABU.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat conditions of the urinary tract and reproductive system.
• Perform surgical procedures and manage medication therapy.
• Work in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Duties: Successful candidates will diagnose and treat conditions affecting the urinary tract and reproductive system that will include medication management as well as performing surgical procedures. The physician will work both in the inpatient and outpatient settings.

Qualifications: Successful candidates must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain a state medical license. Applicants must have completed an accredited residency in Urology. Applicants must be board certified or eligible in Urology by the American Board of Urology. All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.
