Job summary

University of Toledo Health seeks a Urological Oncologist to join the Dana Cancer Center and University of Toledo Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. The role combines clinical care with research and teaching in an academic environment.

The successful candidate will diagnose and manage cancers of the urinary tract and male reproductive organs, perform complex oncologic surgeries (including robotic approaches), and collaborate closely with medical and radiation oncologists to provide comprehensive

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Urology.
• Successful completion of a Urologic Oncology fellowship.
• Current and unrestricted licensure in the State of Ohio required, prior to beginning the position.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team to ensure positive patient experiences.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage cancers of the urinary tract and male reproductive organs, from consultation to follow-up.
• Perform complex urologic oncologic surgeries, including minimally invasive and robotic-assisted procedures.
• Collaborate with medical and radiation oncologists to develop treatment plans.
• Lead and participate in urologic tumor boards and contribute to clinical trials.
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in academic settings.
