Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of healthcare office experience.
• Prior surgical scheduling experience preferred.
• Experience with Epic/Epic Care is desirable; strong computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Schedules pre- and postoperative procedures under the provider's direction.
• Coordinate operating room and surgeon schedules.
• Obtain demographic and insurance information and relay details to patients.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, patients and families.
