NYU Langone Health seeks a Nurse Practitioner to join the Urogynecology team in Manhattan. The role provides comprehensive nursing care under a collaborative practice agreement with an attending physician, including prescriptive authority and coordination of patient plans.

Minimum qualifications include a Master’s in Nursing, NY licensure as RN/NP, ANCC or equivalent certification, and BLS. Candidates may require ACLS/PALS as privileges develop.

Qualificações

• Master's Degree in Nursing completed and applicable ANCC certification or equivalent is required.
• Current NYS Registered Nurse license and NYS Nurse Practitioner license.
• Basic Life Support certification is required; ACLS/PALS may be preferred.
• Eligible for licensure as Nurse Practitioner in the designated NYU Hospitals Center area.

Responsabilidades

• Plans and coordinates nursing care per protocols and standards.
• Monitors cost effectiveness and efficiency of service.
• Assists in research protocol preparation and evaluation.
• Collaborates with nursing and other disciplines in clinical studies.
• Uses evidence-based practice to guide care and implement changes.
• Monitors patient outcomes and participates in quality improvement.
