NYU Langone Hospitals in Manhattan seeks a Nurse Practitioner in Urogynecology to provide comprehensive nursing care within a collaborative practice. You will diagnose and treat patients, prescribe medications per NYS law, and coordinate care across teams.

You will work with a multidisciplinary group, stay current in your specialty, and contribute to outcomes and education within the service.

Formación

Master's Degree in Nursing required.
Current NYS Registered Nurse license required.
NYS Nurse Practitioner license required or eligible.
ANCC or equivalent board certification in NP required or feasible.
Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsabilidades

Provide comprehensive nursing care under a collaborative practice with a physician.
Coordinate and document care using nursing process and standards of care.
Diagnose illnesses and manage prescriptive measures within scope.
Collaborate with nursing and other disciplines on clinical studies and protocols.
Utilize evidence-based literature to guide practice changes.
Monitor patient outcomes and participate in quality improvement.
Educate peers and juniors, acting as clinical resource.
Maintain current expertise and pursue professional development.
