Qualifications

• 2-3 years of previous experience as a medical assistant/urodynamic technician.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Greets and escorts the patients to the Urodynamic rooms.
• Explains and performs the urodynamic testing to the patient.
• Runs a urine analysis when necessary.
• Escorts patient to exam room andNotifies doctor of findings when needed.
• Cleans and disinfects the room and equipment for the next patient.
• Stocks rooms every Friday.
• Verifies eligibility and benefits for upcoming urodynamic patients.
• Obtains authorizations if needed.
• Monitors daily schedule to facilitate patient flow.
• Returns phone calls and provides needed information.
• Washes and prepares equipment for onsite sterilization.
• Administers injections prior to testing.
• Acts as back-up medical assistant as needed.
• Notifies manager of equipment malfunctions and supply needs.
