Job summary

Responsibilities

• Performs routine processing of human biospecimens, maintains records for storage and inventory.
• Performs established procedures for urinary extracellular vesicle isolation and storage.
• Conducts routine EV characterization including particle quantification, imaging, and Western blot.
• Performs RNA isolation from EVs using standard procedures.
• Conducts flow cytometry experiments for EV characterization.
• Maintains laboratory inventory, assists with ordering, and ensures proper storage and disposal.
• Collects and organizes data using computerized software and assists with basic data analysis.
• Coordinates submission and tracking of samples for assays with core facilities or external labs.
• Assists with maintaining lab organization, equipment, and documentation for ongoing research.
• Follows lab protocols and safety procedures; performs technical procedures with guidance.
