Job summary

Exhava Home Care is seeking compassionate, experienced caregivers to support older adults at home in Vista, California. With a focus on person-centered care, caregivers provide companionship, personal care, meal prep, mobility support, and memory-loss assistance.

Candidates should have caregiver experience, CA HCA registration, a current TB test or chest X-ray, legal work authorization in the U.S., and a valid driver’s license with active auto insurance.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiver experience preferred.
• Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration.
• Current TB test result or chest X-ray documentation.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid drivers license and active auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support
• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping
• Provide safe mobility assistance
• Support clients experiencing dementia and memory-related challenges with patience and respect
• Provide medication reminders according to the clients care plan
• Accompany clients to appointments or errands when needed
• Help maintain a safe, calm, and comfortable home environment
• Observe and communicate changes or concerns to the care team
• Follow individualized care plans and promote client dignity and independence
