Job summary

Exhava Home Care is looking for an in-home caregiver to support aging adults in their own homes in El Cajon, CA.

You will assist with personal care, mobility, meals, and companionship while upholding dignity and independence. Active HCA registration, TB test or chest X-ray, and work authorization in the U.S. are required. Competitive pay with weekly payroll is offered.

Qualifications

• Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration required.
• Current TB test result or chest X-ray as required by regulations.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist with mobility, toileting, personal care and incontinence care.
• Provide companionship and monitor client safety.
• Help with daily routines and activities.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and keep a safe home environment.
• Document care activities and communicate changes to the care team.
• Respect client dignity and promote independence.
• Prior caregiving experience preferred.
• Maintain HCA registration and comply with regulations.

You will play an important role in helping clients feel safe, comfortable, respected, and supported throughout their daily routines. From assisting with personal care and mobility to preparing meals and providing companionship, your presence can make a meaningful difference in a client's day.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with mobility, toileting, personal care, and incontinence care
• Monitor client safety and provide companionship
• Assist with daily routines and activities
• Prepare meals and provide assistance with feeding when needed
• Perform light housekeeping and help maintain a safe home environment
• Document care activities and communicate concerns or changes to the care team
• Provide respectful, compassionate care while maintaining client dignity and independence
• Previous caregiving experience preferred
• Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration
• Current TB test result or chest X-ray, as required by applicable regulations
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver's license and active auto insurance preferred/required when applicable to the assignment
