Job summary

Exhava Home Care is seeking a compassionate in-home caregiver in California to support aging adults in their homes. You will assist with personal care, mobility, meals, and daily activities while ensuring safety, dignity, and independence.

The role emphasizes companionship, daily routine support, and maintaining a safe home environment. Requires HCA registration, ability to work legally in the U.S., and good driving credentials where applicable.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration.
• Current TB test result or chest X-ray, as required by applicable regulations.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist with mobility, toileting, personal care, and incontinence care.
• Monitor client safety and provide companionship.
• Assist with daily routines and activities.
• Prepare meals and provide assistance with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and help maintain a safe home environment.
• Document care activities and communicate concerns or changes to the care team.
• Provide respectful, compassionate care while maintaining client dignity and independence
