Job summary

Qualicare Home Care SF Bay Area is actively seeking compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care in clients’ homes across the SF Bay Area. Flexible schedules, paid orientation, and opportunities for advancement are available.

A California driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred, with weekend availability often required. We offer competitive pay between $20 and $23 per hour, mileage reimbursement, and ongoing support from a nurse mentor and workplace

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving experience preferred.
• Negative TB test or chest X‑ray.
• Access to a mobile phone.
• Ability to travel within Contra Costa and Alameda Counties.
• Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Availability for weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Accompany clients on outings, shopping trips, and errands.
• Provide non-medical medication reminders.
• Assist with ambulation and safe client transfers.
• Follow individualized care plans and client‑specific instructions.
• Complete required documentation and charting accurately.
