Job summary
Qualicare Home Care SF Bay Area is hiring compassionate caregivers to provide dedicated, one‑on‑one support in clients' homes throughout Contra Costa and Alameda Counties. Flexible scheduling, paid training, and advancement opportunities help fit caregiving into busy student or part‑time lifestyles.
Responsibilities include personal care, meal prep, companionship, and medication reminders, with mileage reimbursement and ongoing mentorship.
Qualifications
- Home Care Aide (HCA) registration preferred.
- Prior caregiving experience preferred.
- Negative TB test or chest X‑ray.
- Access to a mobile phone.
- Ability to travel within Contra Costa and Alameda Counties.
- Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Availability for weekend shifts.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
- Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Accompany clients on outings, shopping trips, and errands.
- Provide non‑medical medication reminders.
- Assist with ambulation and safe client transfers.
- Follow individualized care plans and client‑specific instructions.
- Complete required documentation and charting accurately.
