Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Institute of Tucson is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for an urgent 13-week contract assignment in Tucson, AZ. The OT will provide comprehensive rehabilitation in an inpatient setting and develop individualized treatment plans to improve functional independence.

Arizona-licensed candidates or those eligible for licensure are preferred. The role requires 40 hours/week, weekend coverage, and a start ASAP with potential for extension beyond 13

Qualifications

• Arizona-licensed or eligible for licensure
• Arizona OT License highly preferred
• BLS Certification
• Inpatient rehabilitation or acute care experience preferred
• Strong clinical reasoning and patient-care skills
• Weekend availability required
• 40 hours per week
• Full 13-week contract

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive rehabilitation services in an inpatient setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve independence, mobility, ADLs, and quality of life
• Collaborate with care team to ensure continuity of care
