Job summary

Child and Family Agency of Southeastern CT (CFA) is seeking master's prepared, licensed clinicians for the Urgent Crisis Center (UCC). The role involves triaging, stabilizing, and assessing youth in mental or substance abuse crises within a fast-paced team environment.

The position runs Monday-Friday 2nd shift (2pm-10pm) with some Saturdays (10am-6pm). CFA provides extensive training and supervision to support professional growth.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or counseling required.
• Licensed clinician with LMSW/LCSW/LMFT/LPC/PC-A credentials.
• Ability to triage, stabilize, and assess youth in crisis using DSM-5.

Responsibilities

• Triage, stabilize, and assess children and youth in crisis.
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Support statewide initiative to widen the safety net for families in CT.
