Job summary

Valley Patient Care Inc in Virginia is hiring a VA certified X-ray technologist for our new Urgent Care Center. This is an immediate need; start within two weeks. Initially part-time with potential to go full-time.

Responsibilities include obtaining quality X-rays, enforcing safety procedures, documenting images, maintaining equipment, and supporting center operations. Must have ARRT certification and VA licensure; high school diploma required; experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ARRT certification and Virginia licensure required/eligible.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• One year of clerical experience preferred.
• One year of clinical radiography experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quality x-rays with correct position and exposure.
• Adhere to safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure.
• Document and label x-ray CDs and images per guidelines.
• Operate and maintain radiology equipment and office systems.
• Assist with supplies, cleaning, and patient care in urgent center.
