Job summary

BayCare in Tampa is seeking a dedicated Basic Machine Operator to join our Urgent Care team. You will assist providers with patient exams, procedures, and x-ray/imaging services, manage EMR, and support front and back-office duties.

Required BLS and Florida Basic Machine Operator license, high school diploma, and preferred Medical Assistant experience. Typical schedule includes 12-hour shifts, weekends, and travel to other sites may be required. BayCare offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Assists clinicians with patient examination and imaging procedures.
• Maintains patient histories and prepares specimens for lab transport.
• Follows up on test orders and communicates results to providers and patients.
• Creates and maintains patient EMR data.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Position may require travel to other sites depending on patient volume.
• Ability to work extended hours including evenings and weekends.
• Supports both front- and back-office duties as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
