Qualifikationen

• Certification and Registration with ARRT (required)
• State Licensure (preferred; VA licensure required if practicing in VA)
• BLS Basic Life Support – American Heart Association (required)
• ARRT accredited program or equivalent (preferred)
• 1 year experience in radiation safety and patient care (preferred)

Aufgaben

• Safely performs provider ordered radiographic examinations with proper positioning and protection.
• Sets up and adjusts immobilization equipment and devices; positions patients safely.
• Documents patient encounters within EMR.
• Determines and selects appropriate technical factors to safeguard patient and equipment.
• Maintains skills; may travel to off-site facilities and adjust hours as needed.
• Maintains sterile technique and reports equipment issues to supervisor.
• Performs other duties such as scheduling, registration, and scribing as needed.
