Bon Secours in Richmond, VA seeks an X-Ray Technician to perform digital radiographic exams and support patient care under provider orders. The role involves equipment setup, EMR documentation, and ensuring radiation safety. Travel to off-site facilities may be required to meet patient care needs.

Candidates should have ARRT certification, Virginia licensure (or eligibility), and BLS. EPIC EHR and PACS experience are preferred to enhance workflow and patient records.

Formación

• Certification and Registration with ARRT (required)
• State Licensure (preferred; if Virginia, licensure required)
• BLS Basic Life Support – American Heart Association (required)
• Experience with Radiology Information System (preferred)
• EPIC Electronic Health Record (preferred)
• Picture archiving communication system (PACS) (preferred)

Responsabilidades

• Safely performs provider ordered radiographic examinations, including patient positioning, immobilization, and radiation protection
• Sets up and adjusts supportive/immobilization equipment; ensures patient safety and professionalism
• Documents patient encounters in EMR
• Determines and selects proper electronic/technical factors to safeguard patient and equipment
• Maintains skills; may travel to other facilities for providers or adjust work hours as needed
• Directs sterile technique to prevent cross-contamination
• Reports malfunctions or needed repairs to supervisor
• Performs other duties including ordering supplies, lab tests, registration, scheduling, phone triage, cash handling, and scribing as needed
