Veterinary Urgent Care Center Worcester is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our fast-paced urgent care team. This role offers part-time or full-time hours with a rotating schedule, centered on emergency-style medicine and rapid diagnostics.

You will work closely with four doctors and support staff, performing routine labs, anesthesia induction and monitoring, veterinary nursing, and radiology tasks while maintaining compassionate patient care and client communication.Competitive benefits

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in fundamental veterinary skills ranging from laboratory and pharmacy to nursing and radiology.
• Calm, efficient approach in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Essential Patient Care: assist the medical team with hands-on care and compassion for every animal.
• Be the Go-To Support for the Medical Team: anticipate needs and ensure a smooth, efficient workflow.
• Create a Positive Client Experience: assist with scheduling, payments, and communications with a courteous approach.
• Ensure a Safe and Clean Environment: maintain the hospital and equipment to high standards.
