St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking an Urgent Care Technician to support both Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine.

You will perform clerical and clinical duties, assist nursing staff and Providers, gather medical history, and obtain vital signs to prepare patients and rooms for visits. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and basic computer skills, with medical terminology a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assesses patient acuity in waiting areas and escorts patients to exam rooms.
• Completes intake by gathering medical history and obtaining vital signs.
• Prepares the patient and room by setting up necessary instruments and equipment for the visit.
• Schedules patients for specialty follow ups and other clinical services as needed.
• Performs point-of-care testing per protocol and maintains equipment and exam rooms.
• Assists nursing staff and Providers to support high-quality, patient-centered care.
