Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks an Urgent Care Tech for Winchester Hospital's Urgent Care team. You will work under an RN to perform procedures providing emergency care for patient comfort and safety, contributing to optimal outcomes through teamwork.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or nursing student with completion of one medical-surgical clinical rotation or one year clinical care experience.
• Preferred: Nursing Assistant, EMT, Medical Assistant and/or Phlebotomist certification
• Preferred: High school diploma/equivalent strongly preferred
• Preferred: Emergency patient care experience and EKG experience

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a registered nurse, perform procedures to provide emergency care for patient comfort and safety.
• Contribute to a collaborative team approach to optimize patient outcomes in the emergency care setting.
• Assist with patient transport, documentation, and basic care activities as assigned by the RN.
