Under the direction of a registered nurse, this position contributes to the hospital’s mission by performing procedures to provide emergency care, for the comfort and safety of patients, and by supporting a collaborative team approach to patient care in the emergency setting.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant or equivalent clinical experience required.
• One year of clinical care experience or nursing student with clinical rotation or equivalent education required.
• Emergency room clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support emergency care under RN supervision.
• Perform procedures to provide emergency care for patient comfort and safety.
• Contribute to a collaborative team approach in the emergency setting.
